Charity Intervention Grants

Every day we are besieged by desperate people facing life threatening situations, medical emergencies, severe hunger, homelessness, and many forms of human suffering. These situations are intensified by hurricanes, earthquakes, violence and instability, cholera outbreaks and other crises.

Our charity flows from daily prayer and hearing "the cry of the poor." Some days we may encounter this in the pleadings of a woman whose child is dying, some days in a man who lost his daughter and has no money for a funeral and some days we may find one of our students has been shot and we will provide medical treatment. Each year we budget approximately 7% of our expendable revenue for medicine, food, rent, funeral expenses and other urgent needs.

Major Goals & Needs

• Target most vulnerable for charity grants - i.e. women and infants, elderly and very sick;
• Link more of our charity to a work project or to a need within our schools.
